Sweet like syrup... Miss Maple Rose is lovingly known as "Australia's classiest piece of bacon."
A new addition to the cast of the Burlesque Showboat, we're thrilled to have this international lady of tease on board! Originally heralding from Toronto, Ontario, Maple Rose burst onto the Australian burlesque scene back in 2011. This bright eyed, autumn haired siren has worked tirelessly at reviving the glory of old Hollywood glamour. Beginning her performing career as a ballerina, Miss Maple Rose combines her professional expertise in costume and set design with her foundation in dance to create cheeky routines that are entirely original..
A pocket rocket with a whole lot of energy and moves to knock you over, Maple brings a style to the stage that leaves you ready to dance out of your seat and get up to a whole lot of no good! She is a renowned fan-dance artist, and loves to evoke golden age jazz and classic bump 'n' grind with her own sweet twist.
Miss Maple Rose is a household name in the Sydney burlesque scene and has recently moved back to Australia from the Scandinavian Capital, Stockholm, where she joined the in-house cast at Stockholm's local speakeasy, Melt. A long list of independent productions includes resident status at Sydney’s longest running weekly burlesque night at Dome Bar as well as Sydney’s kookiest industry night, The Peel along with guest performances at 34B, Red Light Confidential, Black Cherry, The Art Lounge, and Mr. Falcons. In 2013, Maple crossed borders and toured Japan, winning hearts with her auburn cheekiness. Maple competed for the crown in Miss Burlesque NSW 2014, won first runner up at Burlesque Idol Sydney 2014, and has participated in numerous burlesque festivals including the Australian Burlesque Festival (2014 and 2015), the Perth International Burlesque Festival (2015), the London Burlesque Festival (2016) and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2016).

Maple Rose has also just been announced as a featured performer in this years Australian Burlesque Festival! She will be performing in Tropical Tease in both Alice Springs & Darwin, so all your interstate burly fans make sure you get your tickets.
